There are five rounds of betting in this game and the game is usually played in the pot limit format. Another popular game is the Razz and here the format is identical to seven card stud but the motive of the game is opposite. Players try to come up with the lowest hand rather than the strongest. The straights and the flushes are not included in the game and a hand with an ace and 1,2,3,4 and 5 is considered the lowest and therefore the best.

There is no denying the fact that Draw Poker is a very interesting texas holdem poker game too. Here the players are all dealt 5 cards each and they are offered one chance to exchange the cards they do not like. The game is one that requires a lot of observing since here one does not have any open cards to base the judging on. Often players will bring in variation into the game in the form of a wild card or even a multi draw option.
